Our culinary team is lead by Executive Chef Kasim Siftar. Chef Kaz is no stranger to innovative dining concepts or international cuisine. After graduating Oklahoma State University with a degree in Culinary Arts, Chef Kaz quickly gained industry attention and was featured in television segments on ABC and CBS news while leading the kitchen of Tulsa’s #1 seafood restaurant. After mastering all facets of food & beverage in upscale hotels and resorts, Chef Kaz joined the team at DoubleTree by Hilton Tampa and played a vital role in introducing ItaliAsia’s second location in Tampa, Florida.

Kasim’s goal in the culinary arts is to create a memorable dining experience for every guest through delivering exceptional quality and extraordinary presentation.

“My philosophy on cooking is starting with good quality, seasonal ingredients from beef, seafood to vegetables and adding flavors that marry well with the meal. My style of cooking is contemporary American, taking from some of the many cuisines that make up the U.S. from traditional favorites to Asian, Latin, Italian and Mediterranean. I believe there should be the
right balance in textures as well to complete the experience.”-Chef Siftar
